Provides project and program management support for the program, including program establishment, review of deliverables and/or work products for correctness, adherence to the design concept and to federal government standards, and for progress in accordance with schedules and requirements. As required, leverages federal government, PMBOK and AT&T best practices for project and program management.
Directly reports to AT&T Program Manager.
As needed, coordinates with AT&T, sub-contractors and government management staff to ensure problem solution and customer satisfaction.
Plans and coordinates with large cross organizational team (AT&T and subcontractors) for the completion of deliverables, ensuring quality, and evaluating performance change requirements against scope of work.
May coordinate with customer Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) in evaluating scope changes, and adds/deletes.
Achieves operational objectives by recommending changes to strategic plans and reviews; preparing/completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining changes.
Education: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Art Degree with at least five (5) years’ experience in project and/or program/contract management. Four additional years of related experience may substitute for degree.
Skills and knowledge requirements include but are not limited to the following:
Hands-on technical solutions knowledge and experience with large scale projects from both governmental as well as private sector perspectives
Experience developing and maintaining schedules in MS Project
Depth/breadth of knowledge and understanding of government organizational structure, with capability to effectively address customer concerns and issues, ensuring quality and mitigating risks,
Successful experience coordinating and supporting large, dispersed teams, project cost, schedule and risk and
Experience in contractual or administrative questions related to project work statement.
Required Clearance: U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance
Desired: Familiarity with Risk Management, conducting risk reviews and managing program risks.
