Principal-System Engineer

Overall Purpose: Responsible for translating business needs into technical solutions, and defining solutions to problems through reasoned application of information technology for AT&T Integrated Cloud (AIC). CI/CD System Engineer to help enhance and maintain the growing number of repositories and capabilities to deliver code and improve automated platform wide testing. CI/CD Engineer will create and maintain job pipelines, manage artifact promotion and repositories, support development with DevOps Practices. The candidate will also understand and communicate Security, Static and Dynamic Analysis.
Nature of Contribution - Fully functioning technical professional. Develops new concepts, methods and techniques.
Knowledge - Advanced knowledge of Jenkins, Zuul, Gerrit/GitHub/Git, Aptly/Artifactory, working knowledge of Jenkinsfile and Jenkins Pipeline, Python knowledge, Automated Unit Testing and Integration Testing, written or maintained a Jenkins Plugin. Languages (Go), Deployment Tools (Ansible/Puppet/Helm), Kubernetes.

Works on problems requiring judgment and in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Analyzes and interprets research to evaluate and recommend solutions.
