Brand/Product Project Coordinator

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Brand/Product Project Coordinator in Cleveland, OH.

 

Summary of Duties:

Collaborate with sales, marketing and channel on the implementation of key marketing tactics. Coordinate the planning, development, and direction of the marketing efforts of the brand. Ensure communications deliver a consistent brand message. Work collaboratively with Brand/Product Management teams in all brand creative including:  Advertising, PR, POP, Merchandising, Collateral Materials. Coordinate advertising, PR, and merchandising budgets for the brand. Lead in-store marketing communication efforts including Paint Expert communication, and manage merchandising production and in-store installation, and development of training guides. Coordinate the commercialization of new products as a result of new product development or regulatory changes for HGTV HOME by Sherwin-Williams. Enter new product information into appropriate database as part of commercialization process. Work with designer and/or in-house graphics team on label changes and/or development. Proofread content and facilitate sign-offs from all individuals in the routing process (legal, marketing, spec, R&D, and regulatory). Communicate commercialization timelines to all functional areas on a regular basis. Assist in the planning of new product launches including website updates, launch kits, and product data sheet development. Analyze industry, competitors and end-users to assist in identifying new opportunities for new products as well brand marketing content. Use primary and secondary research to learn about industry and competitors. Quarterly travel with Sales team to gain end-user insights. Coordinate trade show and brand events including working with brand/product marketing, channel and sales teams in identifying key events for attendance/exhibition; working with product marketing on design and development of tradeshow graphics; and coordinating booth and all appropriate logistics for attendees. Manage the marketing budget for HGTV HOME by Sherwin-Williams. Track and maintain all invoices related to Marketing including label design and development, tradeshows, and collateral development. 20% domestic travel.

 

Qualifications:                      

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Marketing, Management, or related field of study plus two (2) years of experience in a Marketing or related role.   Experience must include: home improvement industry marketing experience with high volume big-box stores; MS Office Suite; Adobe Photoshop; Illustrator; InDesign; bucket paint marketing; product life cycle; product marketing, channel and sales teams in identifying key events for attendance and exhibition; and product marketing on design and development of tradeshow graphics.
