Materials Coordinator

This position performs various skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the execution of MAC (Moves, Adds, Changes) activities as assigned and Furniture Warehouse Management. Performs a variety of minor office furniture reconfigurations using hand and power tools.

Reports To: RPM/Facilities Manager

Supervises: None

Location: Bedford, MA

Roles & Responsibilities

 Materials movement within the campus and associated locations in the area, to include boxes, furniture and equipment and activities associated with personnel moves.

 Performs a variety of furniture assembly and installation operations according to customer specifications to ensure timely and accurate completion of the installation.

 Performs all duties in a safe manner and in accordance with established work standards and JLL Best Practices.

 Ability to see jobs through to completion in a professional and time efficient manner without supervision.

 Provide a high level of customer service to ensure satisfactory customer experience.

 Pull, stage, load and unload furniture into and out of warehouse.

 Maintain warehouse in safe, neat, organized and orderly conditions at all times.

 Complies with all company policies and procedures and performs other duties as assigned.

 Participate in Mandatory Safety Training and My Development Workshops.

Skills & Qualifications

 High School Graduate or equivalent.

 Good communication skills and customer service.

 Valid driver’s license, ability to operate a 26’ box truck and tailgate lift. (No CDL requirement).

 Possess an eagerness to learn.

 Dependable, reliable and work well with co-workers, supervisors and customers.

 Mechanically inclined and basic construction skill a plus.

 Knowledge of Steelcase Furniture Systems a plus.

 Forklift Certificate preferred, but JLL can train and provide.

 Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and other computer programs for processing and maintaining furniture inventory, work orders and email.

 Ability to work with furniture and delivery weight in excess of 50 lbs.
