Converse Supply Chain Analyst

As our Supply Planning Ops Analyst you’ll work hand in hand with our Global Supply Planners maintaining our templates and data while coordinating with our Factory Management and Development teams to manage the Tooling Amortization and Excess Materials Process.
 
Accountabilities:
 
  • Ability to communicate policy and procedures as necessary in regards to the commercialization process, on a global platform.
  • Authorize, track and maintain tooling schedule and logs.
  • Manage excess materials process, investigate costs, validate consumption, and coordinate opportunities to consume surplus.
  • Actively update SharePoint, to include policy, procedure, and performance scorecards.
  • Prepare communications for distribution in a concise and informative manner.
  • Negotiating skills and ability to resolve conflict, ensuring best costs for Converse.
  • Various reporting and analytical requirements.
  • Basic project management skillset, ensuring fiscal year deliverables are achieved.
  • Execute monthly buy process including, sourcing, PO creation and off policy process.
  • Manufacturing Lead Time and Capacity Tier maintenance
  • SAP Supply Planning & Direct Procurement Subject Matter Expert
 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field. Additional two years' experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 2 years' work experience in a supply chain related environment, with experience in any combination of the following: Product Sourcing or Development, Forecasting in Supply, Demand, Inventory, and/or Purchase planning. Footwear environment a plus.
  • Product creation process and commercialization knowledge is helpful.
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills across multiple cultures.
  • Advanced Microsoft office skillset; knowledge emphasized in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced reporting skills (Business Intelligence) and ability to present data.
  • Analytical, detail oriented, organized, and self-motivated. Comfort with ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • Ability to interact well with diverse network of global business partners.
