Nike's Human Resource team is looking to add a Sr. Manager of Global Employment Taxation to their team. Key Responsibilities include:
• Partner with senior management to define and develop a global
strategy for governance and compliance of Total Rewards delivery.
• Lead global employment tax compliance practices by providing
governance, guidelines and practical advice on complex tax matters to key
partners.
• Continuously monitor legislative developments and ensure
internal compliance processes remain in-line with the current
requirements.
• Utilize best tax planning practices to help reduce overall tax
burden, minimize compliance risks and decrease administrative burden where
possible.
• Anticipate potential roadblocks, identify opportunities for
improvement and provide practical approaches to problem solving.
• Oversee tax compliance of global equity compensation programs.
• Develop trusted relationships across organization to effectively
educate and influence on key risk and control issues.
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, tax or
finance
· CPA or EA and CEP (preferred)
· 8 -10 years of Big 4 experience in employment
tax or tax compliance
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to clearly articulate objectives,
strong information seeking skills and ability to make things happen
· Ability to lead initiatives and project teams
· Ability to network and utilize internal and
external resources
