Sr. Manager, Global Employment Tax

Nike's Human Resource team is looking to add a Sr. Manager of Global Employment Taxation to their team.  Key Responsibilities include:  

 

      Partner with senior management to define and develop a global strategy for governance and compliance of Total Rewards delivery.

      Lead global employment tax compliance practices by providing governance, guidelines and practical advice on complex tax matters to key partners.

      Continuously monitor legislative developments and ensure internal compliance processes remain in-line with the current requirements. 

      Utilize best tax planning practices to help reduce overall tax burden, minimize compliance risks and decrease administrative burden where possible.

      Anticipate potential roadblocks, identify opportunities for improvement and provide practical approaches to problem solving.

      Oversee tax compliance of global equity compensation programs.

      Develop trusted relationships across organization to effectively educate and influence on key risk and control issues.

 

 

·        Bachelor’s degree in accounting, tax or finance

·        CPA or EA and CEP (preferred)

·        8 -10 years of Big 4 experience in employment tax or tax compliance

·        Strong verbal and written communication skills

·        Ability to clearly articulate objectives, strong information seeking skills and ability to    make things happen

·        Ability to lead initiatives and project teams

·        Ability to network and utilize internal and external resources
