Work with multiple cross functional teams on a broad scope of staffing and store initiatives. Determine key metrics used to measure the success of initiatives. Use data to determine the efficacy of the initiative. Prepare and present analysis on successes and failures of piloted initiatives. Assist in the implementation of successfully piloted strategies. Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions:
• Develop and present analysis related to specific investment requests to determine the project viability.
• Tracks the results of specific investments that are implemented. Determines a control group for comparison and determines the metrics required to measure the ROI of the initiative. Presents the results to the VP/Director for review on continuance of the initiative.
• Works with cross functional teams to provide recommendation on implementation of the initiative. Requires an understanding of the business and out of the box thinking to ensure an efficient implementation.
• Presents analysis and results to key stakeholders, determines follow-up and next steps.

Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years related experience preferred
Communication Skills:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals.
• Needs to feel confident presenting information in front of high level audiences.
Mathematical Skills:
• Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Reasoning Ability:
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical Demands:
• This position requires regular walking, standing, hearing, and talking.
• May occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Other Skills:
• Strong leadership profile and excellent negotiation skills.
• Understanding of department store business in order to form a recommendation on initiatives.
• Experienced PC skills including use of Excel and Access.
• SQL/VBA skills preferred
• Understanding of Macy’s systems (including MSP, Merchant Systems) preferred.
• Previous experience with APT software preferred.
Work Hours:
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store/company needs.
• 10% travel required.
