Change Management Analyst/Developer Professional Apprentice®

The Professional Apprentice® position is located in downtown Cleveland at our Corporate Headquarters. Position requires at least a full year enlistment and up to 28 hours per week with flexibility in work schedule

The Change Management Analyst/Developer Professional Apprentice’s™ role is to create and update Change Management System Custom Request Types and Workflows.

Essential Functions
Strategy & Planning
• Assist in defining software development project plans and work breakdown structures.

Acquisition & Deployment
• Maximize the use of out-of-the-box functionality of the Change Management system software, avoiding customizations to the software wherever possible.

Operational Management
• Perform development, configuration, and system administration of the Change Management system. This development work requires the use of HTML, Java, Java Script, Oracle SQL, and UNIX shell scripts.
• Perform tier-1 PPM Production support, during normal business hours.
• Create documentation and train new end users to operate new or modified programs.
• Assist with non-Change Management software projects and tasks as may be required to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the work of other teams.

Incidental Functions
• Install software products for end users as required.

Position Requirements
Formal Education & Certification
• Currently enrolled and actively pursuing an associate, Bachelor or Master degree in IT related field
• Minimum GPA of 2.5
• Graduation date of May 2018 or later

Knowledge & Experience
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Some knowledge of programming languages, operating systems, and databases.

• Motivated to contribute to the work effort.
