The SEC team will drive end-to-end integration across hundreds of business processes, leveraging a flexible and scalable Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and best-of-breed technology solutions that support the retail experience of the future. As our Interaction Director, you will report to the Sr Director of Employee & Information Experience and will direct creation of intuitive solutions and platforms through techniques based in behavioral science to drive our next generation employee experience.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Creation of UX-related documentation including experience maps, user scenarios, mockups and user flows • Implementation of experience interaction capabilities to support an amplified and cohesive employee and information experience • Measuring product features to establish benchmarks and to identify potential areas of improvement. • Define interaction design standards. • Bring future thinking and skills to identify and select emerging industry disruptors to improve experience • Regularly research and analyze competitor experiences, industry innovations and best practices. • Create governance models for overseeing interaction design and implementation across multiple teams • Partner with functional business leads, engineering, architecture, TM, communications, and others • Developing interactive reporting dashboards and different types of visualizations. • Design the UI architecture, interface, and interaction flow of new web and mobile applications • Contribute to defining the persona journey and improvement of the various aspects of experience • Develop Qualitative and Quantitative analysis techniques to improve user experience • Creating rapid prototypes to validate design concepts with stakeholders and customers. • Define standards for a productive Enterprise Employee Experience • Design interaction approaches that conform to the constraints of established third-party software applications and tools as well as completely custom built software implementations • Function as a team player who contributes in a model where employees are valued not only for their depth of knowledge but their willingness to participate in a breadth of work to support the overall team • Work in close partnership with User Insights Director to develop user testing strategies and stimulus content for testing lab and research efforts • Translate complex business processes and user requirements into a holistic vision for Nike’s software interaction models and principles • Interact with and negotiate funding and resourcing priorities with a variety of partners including technical, design and business stakeholders to ensure the right balance of skills and capabilities are leveraged across teams to build industry best in class interactive software experiences • Extensive experience working on solutions enabled on various front-end experience platforms (CMS) and user hardware devices including desktop, tablet and mobile • Strong visual design and UI design skills including color, typography, screen layout, messaging and iconography • Ability to design and present interaction storyboards that paint the vision of a proposed interaction solution for delivery stakeholders and leadership audiences • Expert with rapid prototyping software such as Axure InVision or Adobe XD • Proficient with rapid prototyping strategies to improve design workflow efficiencies and enable agile UX design in standard SDLC Lifecyle • Experience developing paper prototypes, digital wireframes and digital designs to aid in the conceptualization of UI/IX design solutions • Ability to build digital and paper prototypes that support user testing and research lab efforts to validate and test various behavioral hypothesis • Strong experience taking findings from user research and analysis to make adjustments and improvement recommendations to experience designs

• Bachelor’s Degree • Minimum 10 years-total experience in interaction and experience design • Formal training in UX/EX, HCI, Design or CS. • Demonstrated success in cross-functional integration/relationships and program execution • Agile project experience • Excellent written and oral communications skills • Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments • Ability to work in a highly matrixed organization • Demonstration of strong influencing skill • ERP experience a plus
