PRIMARY FUNCTION
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The technology and data that enable smart media buying in the digital space has pushed today’s marketer to find new approaches to buying that media. That marketer is being asked to think beyond the campaign, with a focus on nimble, iterative content combined with data-driven media that delivers measurable results.
As part of the Enterprise TGA team at Target, this team member will take an always-on, guest-centric approach to the social, video, display and audio channels, helping to develop content and processes that deliver on Target’s enterprise marketing and business objectives. This person must have the ability to take a data-driven approach to everyday work, with an eye toward technological advancements that will make Target first-to-market in the digital space.

Manage the content development process for the Enterprise TGA initiative, in collaboration with Target creative teams
Develop new and innovative ways to build creative for ETGA, with a focus on automation and scale
Find operational efficiencies in the content development process that free up time for higher order work
Build and maintain a testing calendar specific to ETGA content, in support of annual learning objectives
Oversee execution of A/B testing within ETGA
Help TGA team members hit P&L goals
Develop content reporting process and outputs for ETGA
Communicate creative best practices by channel and platform to stakeholders, based on learnings from testing calendar and ongoing performance
Report back creative performance to social and digital stakeholders, weekly and monthly
Evangelize the always-on approach to content and media to stakeholders outside of Enterprise TGA
 
REPORTING/WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports directly to Sr. Manager, Enterprise TGA
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor degree required
3-4 years of media planning/buying experience
Experience with and strong knowledge of social media platforms
Track record of thinking strategically, delivering results and managing operations
Experience managing a P&L-driven marketing/media budget (direct response)
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
Experience developing and executing content and media testing
Experience with leveraging product feeds to power dynamic content
Ability to collaborate and navigate large organizations effectively
Strong analytical skills and data acumen
Strong verbal and written communication skills
 
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS
Comfortable engaging with agile product development teams
Experience managing outside agency partners
