Target Enterprise, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Senior BI Engineer - Big Data at our offices in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Senior BI Engineer - Big Data will be responsible for the implementation of Business Intelligence programs and practices to deliver relevant, timely and insightful information to the business. This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or related field and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience. Must also have demonstrated ability (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) designing data models for ensuring scalability and performance of data usage; (2) utilizing R, Python, ElasticSearch, Cassandra, Pentaho, SQL Server and Storm; (3) using leading edge technologies including Hadoop, Hive/HQL, Pig/Pig Latin, and XML; (4) implement data structures using best practices in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and SQL, Oracle, and OLAP technologies; and (5) designing reports and visualizations using reporting tools including Domo, Tableau, MicroStrategy.
