- Interface with the Target business representatives and leaders to validate business requirements/requests for reporting solutions.
- Clearly define business questions, asking probing questions and challenging where appropriate.
- Determine best methods in order to gather data and present information. Identify data sources, consult on visual representation of data, and create mock-ups of reports and solicit feedback.
- Build reporting solutions to meet business needs. Create and leverage best methods for reporting solutions and determine appropriate technical platform and solution design.
- Communicates with project/team manager to share knowledge and findings. Communication of progress, milestones, challenges against plan, and escalation of issues
- Documents design and requirements for reporting solutions. Develops and consults on governance for reports.
Requirements
- BA/BS or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years relevant experience (e.g. reporting)
- Programming knowledge and querying ability
- Consultative ability
