- Actively participate and lead development testing and innovation of Target packaging structural needs for our food and essentials businesses
- Work across the entire supply chain and with key internal partners to identify optimal packaging solutions
- Be a key business partner to peers in merchandising, product development
- Identify the value packaging can deliver from design, innovation, cost savings and sustainability and offer relevant solutions to advance the business
- Be an active participant on the broader packaging team to drive Target’s success
- Create structural specifications for primary packaging
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science or related field
- Minimum three years of experience in packaging structural development in the food or essentials work, preferably in a CPG environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently in a fast paced environment
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking ability
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work, contribute and lead in a team environment
