Lead Business Partner- Store Operations: Workforce Management and Communications
Primary Function
In this role the main responsibility is to connect Target’s broader strategy and executional details for seasons and key events. This role is on the Editorial Communication team – supporting strategic and executive level communication.
Role and Responsibilities
Work with clients and leadership to identify and prioritize new and existing business initiatives which focus on consistent communication for Target Stores
Establish comprehensive communication plans and hold partners accountable to ensure all deadlines are met
Ability to think strategically to align multiple priorities and clearly communicate to various audiences
Support seasonal communication across various communication vehicles to yield strong in-store execution
Communicate initiative status and feedback to managers, key stakeholders, and senior management throughout the organization
Ability to work in an initially ambiguous space and create early goals and benchmarks to move communication plans forward
Requirements
4-year degree
Six to nine years of work experience
Ability to manage projects effectively, inclusive of confidential communication plans
Ability to leverage partnerships in order to obtain feedback and insight, influence, negotiate, and accomplish work through others
Ability to communicate effectively to audiences of varying levels
Desired Requirements
Strong Project Management experience and skill set
Cross-functional and collaborative communication skills
Speech writing – editorial writing
Strong understanding of power point
