Job Summary:
This position will support Aeronautical Accessories manufacturing activity by performing assembly work on aviation parts.
Responsibilities May Include:
•Riveting and installing heli-coils and other/various fasteners according to blue print specifications and process specs
•Laying out parts to be produced, as well as riveting, cutting, sawing, trimming, bonding and using proseal
•Accurately using measuring devices such as calipers, scales, torque wrench, and tape measure
•Learning and correctly applying knowledge of new tasks
•Demonstration of safe work habits
•Other responsibilities as assigned
Position Requirements
•Strongly preferred: two or more years of previous manufacturing or similar technical experience/training
•Familiarity with basic measuring devices
•Ability to use basic hand tools
•Ability to read and interpret blue prints, technical drawings, and work orders
•Ability to demonstrate safe work habits including the proper use of PPE
•Ability to stand for extended periods of time (up to duration of shift), and to lift 50lbs
•Ability to purchase own tools as required for position
•Ability to complete task requirements with minimal defects and within timely manner in order to meet customer requirement/department needs
Education requirement:
High school diploma or GED required
