Job Responsibilities:
Customer facing role (B to B) supporting all stages of the sales process. Maintains customer satisfaction by providing problem-solving skills and adherence to processes allowing for compliance to PPG Quality, ISO, AS9100, and Export standards.
Job Duties:
· Set up new customer accounts- collect relevant data from perspective customers and facilitate with corporate accounting office. Conducting surveys when needed and disseminate communications
· Business Analytics; compile data for Sales Management regarding quotes and order history
· Order Entry; detail oriented and accurate entry of part numbers, specifications, shipping instructions, export data and other key information to process orders
· Maximize customer service operational performance by working as part of a team. Detail oriented with a “can do” attitude”. Facilitate and relay critical communication between CS/Sales, and other functional groups (QC, Production, Shipping), and the Customer
o RMA’s, Complaints
o Order Completion from the factory
o Expedites
· Approval of some orders to the production floor
· Respond to customer questions from general in box
· Quote standard and custom products
· Facilitate Vendor and Quality Surveys for the customer
· Complete applicable duties with adherence to processes and policies
o ISO
o Export Compliance; collaborate with ECC on export documents and export orders
o Pricing Policy
· Drive improvements to processes and participate in projects that focus on operation and sales objectives
· Answer company phones/switchboard as needed, and handle CS oriented inquires
· Check in visitors as needed, while adhering to secure facility guidelines
· Perform some general office/administrative tasks as needed
· Other duties as assigned

Excellent communication skills, and business acumen. Willingness to be a team player and to support the department as needed. A strong curiosity for technology and manufacturing and basic understanding of products, applications, and markets. Experience with Macola-Progression a plus. Proficient level skills within Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, required. Working knowledge of QAD a plus. Four year degree or Technical/Science diploma preferred with preference given to those with prior working experience in a global business/sales/technical customer facing role i.e. CS/Inside Sales/Credit Services in an Engineering, Manufacturing or Technology company.
