IT Data Integrity Operations Analyst Intern (Summer)

Join The Sherwin-Williams Company’s internship program. You’ll be given the opportunity to grow personally and professionally while building your resume through practical work experience with a Fortune 500 Company. Position is located in downtown Cleveland at our Corporate Headquarters and requires a commitment of 25-37.5 hours per week—Summer only.

The IT Data Analyst Intern will be involved in involved in processing data that directly/indirectly affects our internal customer groups. Will collaborate with management, development team, infrastructure teams, and the business users to understand the business requirements, specifications, and system configuration.

Essential Functions
Strategy & Planning
• Analyze, document, and recommend improvements to existing processes and standards.
• Actively work to obtain a broad knowledge of programming, technology, equipment, and systems.

Operational Management
• Create and maintain system documentation.
• Learn to use tools to analyze and facilitate data entry and integrity
• Work with existing systems to track and manage requirements and issues.
• Track client issues and problems, and work with others when necessary to provide a resolution.
• Work with problem tracking systems to track and manage requests and issues.

Incidental Functions
• Time and task management and reporting as necessary.
• Assist with projects as may be required to contribute to efficiency and effectiveness of the team.


Position Requirements
Formal Education & Certification
• Currently enrolled in college degree program and actively working toward an Associate, Bachelor, or Master Degree in related field.
• Minimum GPA 2.75

Knowledge & Experience
• Basic IT knowledge.
• Classroom and/or experience in one or more programming languages such as SQL, Java, Visual Basic, HTML, etc.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite Applications including Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
• Knowledge of Access and Visio a plus.
• Knowledge of software development and support methodologies.
