Project Manager, Senior Specialist (Government)

AT&T - COLUMBIA, Maryland

The Project Manager shall be responsible for the successful cost, schedule, and performance of the contract. Directly contributes to program efforts in several areas, including cost management/avoidance, schedule estimation and tracking, contract performance management, risk management, requirements analysis, and quality assurance activities.

• Manager responsible for multiple facets of program growth and retention. Manager will establish and maintain a pipeline of candidates for submission to the various Primes by working closely with both internal managers and the recruiting staff.
• Adherence to AT&T policy and guidelines are also the responsibility of this position.
• Activities will include creation and management of personnel requisitions, preparation of candidate resumes for submission, and involvement in the onboarding process as necessary to facilitate a smooth transition to AT&T. Project Manager will also provide oversight to successful partnering and growth on programs as a subcontractor. This will include, but is not limited to, responding to data calls from prime contractors, providing timely and accurate pricing, submitting candidates to future openings, and monitoring the candidate’s performance.
• This position may also require the manager to oversee 2 or more contracts directly.
• They will be required to track contract financials, respond to partner requests, interface with the customer as required, and supervise personnel as required. Oversight and success of the process is the responsibility of this individual

Candidate should have 5 years’ experience working in a technical field as a personnel and project / program manager. Background in Federal contracting is decidedly a plus for this position.


Required Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph

Desired: Manager with 10 years’ experience working with Government contracting programs as well as AT&T internal processes and procedures. Background in working projects dealing with collaboration of multiple groups working towards a common goal is also desired.
