Director - Replenishment Service Center (Produce Category)

Working in close collaboration with Division stakeholders, the Director leads the effort within assigned Divisions to define specific performance targets, and design and implement effective strategies to meet or exceed said targets.
 
Collaborate with suppliers and Alliant Logistics to identify key opportunities aimed at maximizing supply chain efficiencies.
 
Responsible for transitioning replenishment activities from assigned Divisions to a central location (The RSC).
 
Establish and maintain close collaborative relationships with Division leadership, serving as consultant and subject matter expert on all components of replenishment, driving replenishment success across assigned divisions.
 
Partners with the Division Staff to drive results and continuous improvement on KPIs including service levels, working capital, product cost accuracy and other replenishment metrics.  
 
Conducts quarterly business reviews with each assigned division to discuss performance review issues and develop resolution strategies.
 
Provides ultimate oversight of the Managers of Replenishment and Replenishment Buyers regarding the training and utilization of standard Replenishment Foundations processes, ensuring a 100% utilization rating of the AWR forecasting system at the POD, and for adjusting to business changes as needed to maximize performance.
 
Analyzes performance, national and divisional metrics, etc. on a routine and ad hoc basis - identifying trends, opportunities and obstacles to success.
 
Performs skill assessments and executes training needs while working with the Foundations Team, IT resources, and others as required.
 
Ensures that Replenishment Foundations procedures and policies are consistent across all team members.
 
Acts as subject matter expert on Replenishment Foundations, PRISM, AWR and other applicable programs including their usage, capabilities and organization integration.

Education/Training: Four year degree or equivalent experience required.
 
Related Experience: Must posses 7 years of progressive replenishment management within Perishable categories; project management, training facilitation/documentation, metrics analysis and reporting experience highly preferred. Experience in replenishment management in the foodservice environment preferred.
 
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word and Excel as well as Microsoft Outlook.  Must be extremely analytical and possess highly developed written/oral communication and interpersonal skills.
