Overall Purpose

Responsible for enabling the creation of metadata (business & technical) and measurement of data quality for Metrics & Business Ready Datasets through instituting processes and tools into the CDO Business Intelligence Rapid Development Teams (RDTs).

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Establishes policies and procedures that enable the capture, dissemination and utilization of information about the physical data, technical and business terminology, data rules and constraints, and logical and physical structures of the metrics and business ready data. 

• Establishes policies and procedures that enhance the quality of the organization's data where data is fit for its intended uses (e.g., operations, decision making, machine learning and insight discovery). 

• Works directly with the RDT members (Practitioner, BISA, Solution Architect, & Solution Designer) to ensure metadata and data quality is created for all data products created by the RDT.

• Has extensive specialized technical expertise.

• Applies expert knowledge and broad understanding of multiple disciplines.

• Integrates expert knowledge of technical principles/methods of multiple disciplines with knowledge of products/services and internal operations.

• Advisor on ATT technologies/systems/procedures.

• Solves complex, critical problems related to significant and unique issues.

• Uses extensive research and interpretative thinking.

• Utilizes innovative methods in developing solutions.

• Works on abstract problems requiring evaluation of intangible variables.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related discipline
• More than five years of experience in information management/architecture or minimum five to seven years experience as data analyst, business intelligence analyst, or equivalent roles
