Senior Software Engineer

Position Summary:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
 

•  Develop applications and underlying framework.
•  Collaborate and may lead application design.
•  May lead, implement, test and deliver new features for multiple platforms.
•  Coordinate with QA team to initiate testing and ensure testing is completed.
•  Design framework and software standards and make suggestions for systems or software improvements.
•  Evaluate and improve application development process.

QUALIFICATIONS

required
 

• Bachelor or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 5 years progressive experience as Senior Developer, Technology  Specialist, Programmer Analyst, Consultant or related occupation.
• Must have prior work experience in the following:

1. Java/JEE development.

2. Spring MVC, JAX-WS & REST API development.

3. Ant, Maven Build management tools and source control systems such as  SVN or GIT

4. ORM framework experience such as Hibernate

5. Database Design experience including SQL, PL/SQL

6. HTML, XML, JSP, Java Script and Web technologies

7. Full SDLC- Agile (Requirements Gathering, Planning & Estimation, Iterative Development  & Testing, Deployment and Operational Monitoring)

8. Design Patterns and Performance Tuning

9. Position requires 10% travel, fully reimbursed by employer.
