Position Summary:
QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate must be able to pass Government Security Clearance.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- HS diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with commercial general building maintenance / repair procedures.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, ability to write simple correspondence, and ability to explain issues in a clear format dealing with operational and mechanical systems.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide - with a basic understanding of geometry and its practical uses.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Excellent skills in operating hand and power tools, power lifts, scaffolding, ladders, and be able to read digital meters and voltage testers.
- Ability to troubleshoot all building systems to include electric and pneumatic controls and thoroughly understand how to interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, and any other software program identified as standard for JLL
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

- Walking and standing for long periods of time are regularly required when performing the duties.
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms; climb; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in a confined space.
- Must regularly lift up to 25 pounds and frequently move up to 100 pounds, while adhering to JLL safety instructions prescribed in the safety handbook and all other safety courses provided.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus; must have 20/20 vision or wear glasses/contacts that bring vision to 20/20.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.
- Frequently works in high and precarious places and may be frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally could be exposed to toxic and/or caustic chemicals.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. When working in the above listed conditions the employee will be furnished with the correct safety equipment (PPE) and training for the conditions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must be able to read drawings and interpreted that information out in the field
- Is responsible for the day to day operations of all plumbing, seat repair, wood fabrication, basic lock repair, drywall repair, ceiling repair, general floor repair knowledge, and the ability to assist the other building departments in their duties.
- Must be able to use all basic hand, power tools, and specialty tools that apply to the trade.
- Must be able to work at heights over 100 feet and outside in all elements
- Must be able to work all shifts
- Must be able to work independently or with others
- Must have good communications skills
- Must be able to complete all annual safety training
- Must be proficient in the use of computers and all firm software.
