PURPOSE Provide general overall facility management services including continuous monitoring of office/facility.
DESCRIPTION
The Facility Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to provide all facility related services and to coordinate the dynamics engaged in office/cube maintenance and repairs to the Salt Lake City Studio for Electronic Arts Inc.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Act as an interface with client, visitors and guests.
Coordinate special events in support of client or Jones Lang LaSalle.
Ensure appropriate follow up with customers, client or Jones Lang LaSalle.
Seek to continuously improve processes, systems and overall client satisfaction.
FACILITY REPAIR AND PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
Implement preventative, ongoing and anticipated maintenance repair programs.
Duties include, but not limited to: lamp replacement, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, furniture, appliances, HVAC, furniture repair, modular furniture assembly and disassembly, picture hanging, and any other tasks as assigned by local management or other Facilities leadership.
Work with third party vendors to ensure contracted repairs and installations are completed properly.
Ensure the proper operation of all critical facilities / production equipment.
SECURITY SUPPORT
Work with EA Security and provide badges and access to contractors and employees on site.
Ensure badges are deactivated upon contractor/employee termination.
Oversee the security guard contractor and make sure they are appropriately tasked.
COPIER/PRINTER SUPPORT
Support all copiers/printers in the Studio space, ensure proper operation and provide minor maintenance.
Coordinate repairs with third party vendors.
SPACE PLANNING
Responsible for assisting with space/seating planning and execution, including coordinating changes to cubes and workspace furniture.
VENDING/OFFICE SUPPLIES
Purchase and stock all break room supplies including but not limited to cups, plates, coffee, creamer, etc.
Coordinate with office coffee and vending machine provider.
Purchase and distribute all office supplies to central areas and conference rooms.
JANITORIAL LIAISON
Coordinate cleaning with janitorial to ensure that the Studio space is properly cleaned.
Complete weekly walks with janitorial management pointing out areas needing additional attention.
Coordinate utility cleaning schedules with facilities and any staff impacted.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
Minimum of 2 years’ industry experience required in a corporate environment or as a third party service provider.
Good organizational and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus.
Ability to quickly learn how to use any Company required software may be required.
Proficient in MS Office, and possess strong written, verbal and people skills.
Prioritize and manage the completion of projects in an efficient and timely manner.
Willingly performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Demonstrated intermediate to advanced written and verbal communications skills.
High school graduate or state equivalent required. Facility management/service background and experience required.
