Position Summary:
Position Title Financial Analyst
Job Description JLL is seeking an Analyst to support our Capital Markets Group in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Group provides investment brokerage, advisory and investment banking services to corporations, institutions, public companies, fund managers, financial institutions and property developers.
Responsibilities:
• Perform complex financial analyses with minimal supervision, including cash flow projections, valuation models, and sensitivity analyses
• Evaluate due diligence materials including leases, financial statements and other documents related to the operation of commercial real estate assets
• Gather and evaluate economic, demographic and real estate market data for input into project specific deliverables
• Prepare proposals and offering materials for new or existing assignments and pursuits utilizing effective work planning capabilities
• Assist with preparation of presentation and pitch materials for new business pursuits
• Partner with investment sales team to help achieve team’s production and operational goals
• Coordinate information flow of deals and maintain regular contact with Marketing Manager for PR and branding purposes
• Manage process of distribution, list updates and activity reporting
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Real Estate and exceptional academic credentials required (please indicate GPA on resume)
• 2-4 years of work experience in Finance or Commercial Real Estate is required
• Proficiency with Argus is strongly preferred
• Strong computer orientation and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word software is required
• Experience valuing both Office and Industrial property types a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills (applicant will need to submit previous work product)
• Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables
• Advanced internet research capabilities
• Ability to work independently and within a team on a wide variety of projects
• Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure and effectively manage time and workload
• Ability to reprioritize tasks on a daily basis given varying team requirements
• Advanced understanding of real estate fundamentals, economic metrics, and research processes
• A desire to work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment
