POSITION OBJECTIVE Leads a team of digital analysts responsible for providing relevant, timely, and actionable customer experience and purchase behavior analysis; as well as for all the tracking and reporting of key performance indicators associated with all Kohl’s digital platforms and customers across digital and stores. This team provides data driven recommendations that solve for key pain points and experience optimization. This leader owns the methodology, strategy, and execution for digital data collection and analysis.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Measure, report, and analyze all key performance indicators across kohl’s digital properties to identify trends and anomalies in order improve customer site experiences and drive sales.
- Analyze performance and impact of site initiatives and site improvements as well as identifying emerging trends in data and data analysis.
- Transforms business questions into actionable analysis that yields insights for improving digital customer experiences.
- Provide site usability recommendations for optimization based on data-analysis.
- Present metrics and key project findings in recurring business meetings including those with Executive Leadership.
Serve as the internal owner and expert for all digital analytics related questions, and educate cross-functional teams on data availability and opportunities. bridge the gap between off line and online consumer behavior and insights.
- Build and enhance robust business dashboards and provide analytics tool training for cross-functional partners.
- Define business requirements for tracking implementation and work with cross functional partners to ensure that all Kohl’s experiences are properly tagged in order to collect all necessary data for analysis.
- Manage the day to day relationship with web analytics vendors as well as working cross functionally with internal data owners and business partners to ensure a complete view of our customers.
- Own Digital Analytics methodology and work to gain cross functional alignment that aligns to delivering customer and company success.

- Manages direct reports, systems and projects to achieve unit goals in accordance with Company policies and practices.
- Prepares and analyze unit plans and reports.
- Provides leadership by exhibiting influence and expertise, thus affecting the results of the operating area.
- Creates an effective work environment by developing a common vision, setting clear objectives, expecting teamwork, recognizing outstanding performance and maintaining open communications.
- Develops staff through coaching, providing performance feedback, providing effective performance assessments and establishing performance and development plans.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- 3-5 years of practical digital analytics leadership experience at a mature digital consumer business of $1 billion in sales.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; passion for the customer and using data to identify and improve customer experiences.
- Bachelors Degree
- Great verbal and written communication
- Experience leading both directly and through influence
Preferred
- Deep knowledge of Adobe Analytics Suite, Adobe Target, DTM, Adobe Workbench or comparable solution
- Mathematics Degree
- History of effective implementation and data driven results
